Efter att vi avslutat vårt Legolandbesök åkte vi tillbaka till vårt hostel och hämtade vårt bagage, sen vidare till busstationen i Johor Bahru. Där rådde fullständigt kaos, åtminstone i våra ögon. Det var människor överallt, och alla skrek och ropade ut namn på destinationer i munnen på varandra.
Det fanns ingen allmän biljettdisk, utan varje bussbolag (säkert 30 stycken) hade sina egna små biljettluckor med enkla, ofta handskrivna lappar utanför om var just deras bussar körde.
Det fanns heller ingen anslagstavla med alla bussars destinationer och avgångstider på, så det var omöjligt att få någon överblick över hur många bussar som faktiskt gick, och var.

Vi hittade biljetter till Kuala Lumpur någonstans i kaoset, och letade oss fram till en restaurang (också kaosartad) där vi fick i oss middag.
Sen började väntan. Bussen gick nämligen inte alls kl 22, som sagts när vi köpte biljetterna, och någon närmare information fick vi inte.
Jack hade somnat redan i bilen på väg till busstationen, så han var lyckligt ovetande om allt. Milo var som vanligt extremt duktig och klagade ingenting. Han åt först någon malaysisk mat som ingen av oss hade sett förut, och han bar sin ryggsäck och satte sig ner på perrongen och väntade utan ett gnäll. När timmarna gick la han sig ner på marken (!) och somnade.
Jag vet inte hur många gånger vi frågade om när bussen kunde tänkas gå, och varifrån, utan svar. Men tillslut kom det faktiskt en buss och någon pekade att det var våran.
Vid midnatt lämnade vi så slutligen Johor Bahru och åkte genom natten mot Kuala Lumpur.

Vi mötte upp Sofia på hennes hotell i KL, och det var såklart superroligt! Hon ska resa med oss under ca två veckor, och hon fick börja med en riktig backpackerrivstart…

På förmiddagen var det återigen dags för inköp av biljetter till en ny buss. Stationen i Kuala Lumpur var aningen mer välorganiserad, men fortfarande utan allmänt system som visade på tider och destinationer. Vi frågade oss fram och hamnade i en liten biljettlucka och köpte biljetter till Lumut.
– It takes four hours, sa kvinnan i biljettluckan – som numera, med facit i hand, går under namnet ”lurifaxtanten” i vårt resesällskap…

Resan tog nämligen drygt sju timmar, och inkluderade ett stopp på nästan en timme i någon stad någonstans (oklart vilken)
När vi slutligen fortsatte med en ny buss sjönk solen över kullarna och tillslut var det helt mörkt, och vi började undra om vi verkligen skulle komma till vår slutdestination, ön Pangkor, den här dagen.

När vi rullade in vid busshållplatsen vid Lumuts hamn var klockan nästan halv nio på kvällen. Vi gick av, och frågade om det gick någon båt till Pangkor.
– Hurry hurry! skrek en kvinna, och det var bara att börja springa. Med två stora ryggsäckar, en resväska, två barn, en barnvagn och diverse handbagage.
– Hurry hurry! skrek kvinnan igen och pekade åt något håll, och vi sprang utan att riktigt veta var båten skule gå ifrån. Det var ju mörkt också och svårt att se.

Men vi kom i alla fall fram till en brygga. Patrik hade köpt biljetter, men han låg efter oss i löpningen (eftersom han bar de tyngsta väskorna) så först höll vi andra inte på att komma ombord. Men vi lyckades förklara att biljetterna var på väg och vi fick springa igenom biljettkontrollen och ut på själva bryggan.
– One minute! Hurry hurry! skreks det, och vi sprang den sista biten och tillslut ombord på en gul ubåtsliknande färja.

Vi kom alltså mot alla odds till Pangkor den här kvällen, och fick en taxi som tog oss till hotellet vi bokat.

Här har vi nu flyttat in, vi i ett rum och Sofia i rummet snett mittemot. Och efter den rivstarten har vi nu vilat upp oss rejält med riktigt sköna, lata dagar på stranden (som är superfin!) och framför allt i havet!

Härligt, härligt. Här stannar vi till på lördag!
