Efter två veckors ledigt ihop alla fyra blev det dags för Patrik att börja jobba. Jag och barnen hade inga planer men jag kände fort hemma att det blev väldigt VARMT, plus att alla inne-sysslor vi inte hunnit/prioriterat bort hela denna varma sommar liksom blängde på mig…

Så, jag föreslog egen campingtripp för mig, Milo och Jack. Det hela gick snabbt från beslut till handling. Kollade kartan, hittade camping på lagom avstånd, packade tält, kylväska, badkläder och inte så mycket mer.

Vi hamnade på Harge bad och camping utanför Askersund, en dryg timme hemifrån. Jag var faktiskt inte alls övertygad om att vi skulle klara att få upp tältet utan hjälp… men vi löste det!!

Och nu har vi hängt här tisdag till idag. Haft sovmorgnar. Ätit frukost på filten utanför tältet.

Badat, badat, badat, badat.

Barnen har spelat fotboll och hoppat studsmatta med nyfunna vänner.

Jag har läst ut en hel pocketbok. Och blivit bjuden på kaffe och bulle hos tältgrannarna.

Vi har kastat Gris och Fisk, många gånger. Hoppat från hopptornet. Ätit glass. Tränat på nickar och volleyskott. Lagat köttbullar och snabbmakaroner i campingens kök. Pratat mycket, om alltifrån politik till nyförvärven i Premier League.

Jag har det så himla bra med mina killar. De är omtänksamma, hjälpsamma och roliga att hänga med. Vi skrattar väldigt mycket ihop.

På kvällarna läser vi Harry Potter med ficklampa, nerkrupna intill varandra på varsitt liggunderlag med lyllo-mig i mitten.

Igår kväll tog Harry Potter tåget till Hogwarts! Spännande!

Jag är så glad att vi drog iväg på en tur, så himla glad och tacksam över mina killar och vår relation.

Igår kväll slog vi på stort och åt på strandrestaurangen i Hargebaden som en liten Grande Finale. Alla valde fish & chips. (Ja, barnportioner är för mycket länge sen ett minne blott i den här familjen…)
