Jack går fortfarande på dagis nu och skulle ha gått sexårsverksamheten till hösten.
Som tur är kommer vi att ha regelbunden kontakt med Milos fantastiska lärare Annika och Therese på Strömtorpsskolan, men vi ska ju också själva vikariera som lärare under det här läsåret som vi är borta.
Därför kanske tur att Patrik igår var med under en hel skoldag i Milos klass! Även Jack var med, och det var en riktig toppendag för honom.
Som han LÄNGTAR efter att börja skolan!! Han är så klar med dagis (hur super det än har varit där under alla år – kära Skogsdungen!)
Men Jack kan läsa sen länge, och han skriver och räknar och grejar. Så ja, han kommer garanterat också att gå i skolan med Milo under det år vi är borta…
Patrik och Jack hade en rolig dag med Milo i skolan, och när de kom hem och berättade om allt som hänt under dagen blev jag lite extra ödmjukt glad över det engagemang lärarna visar. Tacksamheten finns ju förstås i någon mån där varje dag, men i alla fall jag har nog lätt att halka in i vardagen och bara ta det för givet. Man skjutsar och man hämtar, och försöker komma ihåg att skicka med frukt och hyfsat rätt kläder för aktuellt väder.
Men det är ju inte varje dag jag tänker på allt som faktiskt sker därinne i klassrummet, dag efter dag.
Häromdagen berättade Milo plötsligt vid bordet vad en illustratör är.
– Du vet, Astrid är ju till exempel jättebra på att skriva sagorna men hon är inte lika bra på att rita. Då är det en illustratör som ritar alla bilderna.

Vi planerar att ha skola under ett antal timmar dagligen när vi är på platser där vi så att säga ”är stilla”. Under resdagar blir det ju svårare, men å andra sidan så kommer själva ”utbildandet” att vara i centrum även när vi inte sitter stilla i ”skolbänken”.
En sak vi verkligen kommer att gå all in i är att barnen ska prata så mycket engelska som möjligt. Känns som att språk bara blir viktigare och viktigare, och det är något vi verkligen vill att de ska ha med sig.
