Vi har varit restriktiva med ”skapade barnaktiviteter” typ nöjesfält, vattenland och liknande under resan, eftersom det varit viktigt för oss att göra ”riktiga saker” + att vår erfarenhet är att barn inte bara måste göra ”barnsaker” för att ha det bra. Tvärtom.
Men – idag gjorde vi ett undantag, och det var riktigt roligt. Via en utländsk reseblogg fick vi tips om KizCiti här i Ho Chi Minh city, en hel stad i miniformat som var uppbyggd för att barn ska få prova olika jobb. Vi var på plats tidigt, och Milo och Jack fick varsin loggbok och gav sig sen ut och jobbade.
De jobbade som brandman, polis, läkare, bagare, risfarmare, fotograf, pilot och en rad andra saker.
Otroligt fint uppbyggt, med minst en ledare per yrke som guidade och visade barnen. De fick också klä sig i uniformer för respektive jobb, och efter utfört uppdrag fick de lön i form av KizCiti-pengar som kunde användas inne på området i samband med andra aktiviteter.
Väldigt pedagogiskt, och kul att se Milo och Jack växa med uppgiften! Jag tycker de var superduktiga, då alla andra barn var vietnamesiska och ledarna endast kommunicerade på sitt eget språk och lite engelska. Men Milo och Jack tvekade aldrig utan sprang glatt mellan alla olika jobb och testade på. (och föräldrarna fick vänta utanför på alla aktiviteter så ja, de fick klara sig alldeles själva)
