Jag brukar alltid förespråka mycket planering när folk vill ha tips om att resa med barn.
Men häromdagen var vi med om en väldigt rolig överraskning tack vare att vi INTE gjort vår research…
Vi hade hört talas om, lite i förbifarten, att det fanns något lerbad utanför Nha Trang. Det stod ”Mud bath” här och var utanför resebyråernas utflyktstips och vi tänkte att det var väl någon liten källa någonstans med lera i som kunde vara kul att bada i.
Så en tidig morgon tog vi en taxi till lerbadet – och hamnade på något totalt oväntat. Vi välkomnades i vad som såg ut som en lyxig spa-reception, där vi fick eskort genom en vacker miljö till en ny disk med handdukar och skåpnycklar.

Vi fortsatte ut till fantastiska lerbadkar, där vår familj fick ett eget, och vi badade en lång stund i den varma leran som hälldes upp till oss.
Sen fick vi duscha i snygga bambuduschar och sen bada i ett annat tunnbadkar i trä, ett hett örtbad.
Intill fanns en pool i olika etage med ett vattenfall överst, och vi badade också i en grotta med sprutande vatten och slingrande gångar.

Och sen bara fortsatte det. Det visade sig att hela området var en jättelik utomhus spa/pool-anläggning, med mineralvatten från källor. Flera jättestora pooler med jättevarmt vatten (ljuvligt), flera vattenfall, bubbelpool, rutschkanor, restaurang och mycket annat.

Vi blev förstås kvar hela dagen, hela tiden lite lätt chockade över att vår lilla lerpöl som vi sett framför oss plötsligt hade förvandlats till detta…

Bakom mina pojkar skådas kanske den bästa pool jag upplevt; 38 graders värme, simvänlig, palmer runt omkring, nästan inga människor runt omkring…

En kul härlig dag blev det hur som helst, och vi somnade alla galet tidigt den här kvällen efter alla varma bad.
