Handlat någon pocketbok och tidning på Pressbyrån, dubbelkollat gate-numret några gånger. Och så – tid för boarding. Vi går däråt, ger barnen sina boardingkort så att de kan visa dem själva vid gaten. De springer före i gången mot planet trots att vi säger åt dem att försöka gå.
Letar på platserna. Bestämmer att ett barn sitter vid fönstret nu, och det andra får då sitta vid fönstret nästa flight. Det lätta handbagaget får plats under stolen framför, bra att ha smidig tillgång till pysselböcker och ipads under resan till Dubai.
Sjunker ner i stolarna, försöker lyssna på flygvärdinnornas säkerhetsgenomgång med tankarna vandrar iväg.
Vi startar, åker framåt längs startbanan och – lyfter.
Inget mer vi kan göra. Huset (förhoppningsvis) sålt. Våra saker sålda eller magasinerade. Abonnemang och autogiron avslutade. Bilarna avställda.
