Tupparna gal någonstans därute, klockan är halv sju på morgonen och Patrik ger sig iväg med pappa på en morgonpromenad. Det känns lite ovanligt för Jack och Milo är inte här, de sover hos mormor och morfar i bungalowen bredvid. Eller lumbung, som det heter här. Traditionella Bali-hus som är otroligt fina.
Vi befinner oss på ön Nusa Lembongan utanför Balis kust. Jag hade bokat två rum på ett litet och jämförelsevis billigt ställe – Lotus garden huts. Här finns bara sex lumbungs, en liten restaurang, en pool – och så är det bara en minuts promenad till en jättevacker strand, Secret beach.
(Och det kostar cirka 1900 kronor per bungalow totalt för sju nätter. Alltså ca 270 kronor per natt, inklusive frukost)
Vi var på Bali under vår resa genom Sydostasien 2013/2014, och har längtat tillbaka sen dess. Ön Lembongan är en ny bekantskap, dock. Här blir vi ytterligare några dagar.
Totalt kommer vi vara i Indonesien på olika öar i ungefär 1,5 månad, varav min mamma och pappa hänger med oss under en månad.
Som ni ser gillar dom också det lugna strandlivet med mycket bad, så jag vet redan att det kommer att bli utmärkt ?
Lite annorlunda mot när det bara är vi fyra, men jätteroligt såklart.
Det hela medför också att det plötsligt blir en massa mer tid över för mig och Patrik, vilket passar rätt bra i tid eftersom vi måste börja boka upp Nya Zeeland och sen den fortsatta resrutten efter det. Den har nu nämligen ändrats rätt rejält mot hur vi hade tänkt innan…
Vi ska ta en snabbpromenad strax och prata igenom planeringen och sen boka ikväll, tror jag…
