Vi satt i väntrummet på Karlskoga lasarett idag, Milo och jag. Vi väntade på operation för honom, och det kan ju låta som ett lite dramatiskt och märkligt sätt att inleda en blogg på, att berätta om det.Och lite dramatiskt var det, åtminstone för mig som mamma. Det här med att vara med när ens barn sövs ner är liksom inte särskilt enkelt.
Men nu satt vi där och väntade, innan operationen, och en resetidning låg uppslagen på bordet framför oss. Milo refererade direkt till Thailand när han såg bilden av vit, lång strand, palmer och böljande hav.
Mycket riktigt var bilden tagen där och han pratade vidare om sandslotten han ska bygga nästa gång vi kommer dit (i vinter), och senare – när operationen var gjord – berättade han återigen om hur han längtar tillbaka till Koh Jum, denna lilla vackra ö utanför Krabis kust, och om små minnen därifrån.
Ibland, när jag är lite djup, kan jag fundera över vad alla mina ständiga resedrömmar beror på. Om de är en flykt från något, och om det i så fall är dåligt och något jag borde reda ut på nåt sätt.
Men idag kändes det bara väldigt bra i så fall, att fly tillsammans med Milo en stund. Som vi älskar de där stränderna, det där livet, sandslotten och palmerna. Och idag gav de oss flera härliga leenden under en i övrigt ganska jobbig dag.
Så jag tänker fortsätta drömma, fortsätta planera, fortsätta resa. Förstås tillsammans med min alldeles underbara familj. Det ger oss så fantastiskt mycket.
