Milo och Jack är varandras bästa vänner, de älskar att vara tillsammans och är (faktiskt) rätt sällan osams, i alla fall inte nån längre stund.
Vi som familj gillar ju också att vara tillsammans, ingen verkar ha nåt särskilt stort behov av sk egentid.
Därför blir det också rätt sällan vi gör något med bara ett av barnen. Oftast är vi allihop, eller jag eller Patrik med båda killarna.
Men i helgen blev det annorlunda. När Jack fyllde 6 fick han i present av Patrik att de skulle åka och se en bortamatch med Degerfors If, och nu har de varit i Borlänge lördag-söndag och bland annat sett Dalkurd – Degerfors.
Milo och jag blev således själva hemma och jag tänkte att en bra grej kunde vara att vi ägnade oss åt två av våra stora gemensamma intressen; vatten och mat. Så lördagen tillbringade vi i Karlstad.
Eftersom det var helgdag (Pingstafton) var det ingen åldersgräns på relaxavdelningen på Sundstabadet, så där checkade vi in.
Jag trodde nog inte att Milo skulle njuta så mycket som han gjorde, han är väldigt aktiv och på Sundstabadet finns ju också ett äventyrsbad, vattenrutschkanor och simbassäng med hopptorn – så relaxen hade ju viss konkurrens.
Men han trivdes jättebra och vi njöt i timmar, badade bubbelpool både inne och ute, vilade i solstolar i solrummet, badade massa ångbastu, hängde i upplevelseduschen med doft, ljud & ljus, hällde iskallt vatten över oss.. och deltog till och med i en ledarledd bastusittning med eteriska oljor.
Hink med ISKALLT vatten. Milo gjorde nog detta minst 20 gånger (mamman gjorde en gång..)
Sex timmar var vi på Sundsta, varav ett par även ägnades åt äventyrsbad, simning & hopp. Men framförallt relax, vilket var jätteroligt.

Efter det hade jag bokat bord på japanska restaurangen Happy Kitchen, efter att ha läst recensioner på TripAdvisor.
Det var en höjdare! Riktigt gott. Vi beställde både några andra smårätter och förstås massa sushi.
Eftersom Milo ÄLSKAR mat (han äter minst lika mycket som vilken vuxen som helst) och inte är rädd att prova nya saker så är det väldigt kul att äta på restaurang med honom.
Jack har inte gett sig på sushi än så kändes lite smart att låta Milo frossa i detta när vi var själva (han älskar sushi nämligen) Och det var väldigt väldigt gott och trevlig service.
Enda minuset med restaurangen var nog att de tog betalt för kranvattnet. Det gillas inte av mig!
Det blev en väldigt fin dag, lugn och skön, och mamman med telefonen på flygplansläge större delen av dagen (också nyttigt ibland…)
