ÄNTLIGEN har jag tagit tag i en av de där grejerna på beta av-listan som känts lite jobbig.
Förut har vi kört på våra vanliga bankkort när vi rest (Handelsbanken) men det har egentligen varit rätt korkat. Om man åker en vecka eller två gör man ju kanske inte så många uttag på plats, men är man iväg en lite längre tid – då drar det snabbt iväg med kostnader för uttagsavgift + valutaväxlingsavgift i bankomaterna.
Vi har heller i princip aldrig med oss för-växlade pengar hemifrån eftersom vi inte gillar att bära runt på en massa pengar (och den här gången ska vi ju till så många olika länder runt hela jorden så det funkar ju naturligtvis inte alls)
Dessutom är det ju väldigt smidigt att bara ta ut i bankomaterna, som hemma.
Ibland har vi också tagit ut på ett bankkontor där vi varit, eftersom man ofta kan göra lite större uttag där än i bankomaterna.
Har blivit lite sedlar över från våra resor genom åren
Men när varje uttag kostar pengar, då blir det snabbt en hel del pengar. Och som jag har tagit upp tidigare så handlar det ju om en del pengar, ändå, för att resa runt jorden.
Så tidigt i morse tog jag till slut tag i den researchen.
Det visade sig snabbt att det är kreditkort som gäller. Storbankernas vanliga uttagskort (de man brukar ha kopplade till lönekontot) är hopplösa i det här sammanhanget.
Hittar heller inget storbanks-kreditkort utan utlandsavgifter.
Och det kreditkort vi redan har – SAS Eurobonus mastercard – har 2 procent valutaväxlingspåslag för köp och uttag utomlands, och 3 procent på uttaget belopp. Funkar inte riktigt i nio månader…
Många brukar prata om Ica-bankens betalkort, och det var där jag började kolla. MEN! De har börjat med avgifter nyligen, så det gick bort.
Återstod till slut tre:
1. Coop Med Mera Mer (mastercard)
2. Santander Consumer Bank Mitt kort (mastercard)
3. Norwegiankortet
Alla tre har 0 kronor i uttagsavgift i utländska automater utanför EU. Två av tre har också 0 kronor i valutaväxlingspåslag.
Norwegian visade sig dock ha en valutaväxlingsavgift vid köp utomlands, och gick då bort.
Valet för oss föll på Coop Med Mera Mer, på grund av att Santanders kort har en räntekostnad som börjar ticka från dag 1. Alltså från samma stund man gör uttaget i automaten.
Jag har inte lagt energi på att räkna ut vad det skulle kunna bli för kostnad, men jag tror jag skulle känna mig stressad över att veta att det tickade på räntor, och säg att man inte har tillgång till okej wifi på ett tag och inte kommer åt internetbanken för att betala in. Nej, inte sugen på det.
Santanders och Norwegians fördel var dock att det inte är någon årsavgift på dessa kort, men det har inte Coopkortet heller första året. Sen kostar Coops kort 348 kronor/år.

Sen är det ju lite andra fördelar som tillkommer hos alla, man har reseförsäkring, tjänar poäng och lite sånt. Men de faktorerna var inte viktiga för oss i detta val så därför gällde min research endast kostnader för kortet och användandet.
Jag har heller inte brytt mig om räntekostnaden som kommer om man inte betalar sin räkning i tid (eftersom vi planerar att betala dem i tid och slippa räntan 🙂 )

Kör med Santander för det mesta..Hmm tar dom ränta även om man ligger plus på saldot tro?? Nu senast använde jag både Santander o Norwegian. . Santander gav generellt bättre kurs..har skimmats 2 gånger i USA..vet att proceduren funkar med att få tillbaks pengarna.. men inte så kul att sitta incheckad på Landvetter o få samtal att kortet har skimmats o spärrats..men reser aldrig med bara ett kort…av nån anledning funkade inte Norwegia kortet på Forever 21 då langade jag fram mitt tredje medhavda SEB Visa som jag använder hemma….
Nej, de tar nog ingen ränta om man ligger på plus, kan jag tänka mig!

Jag använder två kreditkort (Coop och Norwegian) och ett knutet till bankkonto. Har varit ute för att något kort inte fungerat och då är det bra med mer än ett. Ibland separerar jag dom så om plånboken blir stulen har jag ett kort någon annanstans.

Jag älskar poängsystem & kör Norwegiankortet fullt ut. Ogillar dock kredit generellt, så sätter alltid in pengar i förväg så jag inte ligger back. Då slipper jag oroa mig för missade fakturabetalningar & därmed dröjsmålsränta.
Skönt att ha en sådan punkt avbockad! Tänk att ni åker snart…
Jag är också stort poäng-fan, och har hittills samlat på på SAS Mastercard-kortet, men nu blev det ett byte. Och fördelen med Coop är att det går att synka litegrann till Nordic Choice, och även till SAS tror jag 🙂
Men det är verkligen en djungel med allt sånt här!
