Ingen niomånaders denna gång…. Men nej, jag kunde inte hålla mig.
Jag tar helt och hållet på mig detta även om resten av familjen också ska med.
Det låter ju säkert som att jag hittar på detta som en dålig ursäkt, men jag kan bara inte beskriva hur kraftig reselängtan har varit (och är) till och med rent FYSISKT! Och det känns ju lite dumt nästan, för hur kan det vara möjligt att fingrarna liksom går av sig självt gång på gång på gång på gång in på flygjämförelsesajterna??!

Hur kan det vara möjligt att de så ofta, liksom av sig självt, klickar i ”Stockholm” till ”Överallt” (eller motsvarande sökningsalternativ) och att resenerven alltid bara vill mer och mer och mer, ju mer vi reser?

Så jag satt där och sökte, sådär lite på kul, på resor från fredagen då sportlovet börjar till söndagen då det slutar.
Jag var en sväng i Afrika, i Förenade Arabemiraten, nästan på Kuba men det blev för lång flygresa och lite för dyrt.
Men så plötsligt. Indien. Det blev faktiskt Indien som blir vår sportlovsresa.
Kära Indien, där vi hade det så härligt när vi reste omkring där för några år sen.

Vi siktar på skönaste häng-stranden Palolem i Goa där vi var även i februari 2015 (på Jacks femårsdag, bland annat!). Relativt billigt reguljärflyg, toppen flygtider även om det är byten i både Delhi och Bombay. Och tiderna gör att vi bedömt att det känns värt att dra även om Asien vid en första anblick kan kännas lite långt när det bara är en dryg vecka. Men Indien är ändå inte SÅÅÅ långt…

Och så gjorde jag det.
Till detta ser vi framför oss en billig liten bungalow utan större bekvämligheter men nära stranden. Vi behöver ingen lyx om vi får vara där, tillsammans, och bara vara och äta sjukt billig och god mat. Boende inte bokat än, man vill ju suga lite på den här bokningskaramellen känner jag och inte bränna av allt direkt…

Jorden runt-tisdag idag blev alltså av lite annan karaktär.
Att säga att reseletar-fingrarna helt fått frid vore inte helt sant, de behöver tydligen nån slags ständigt pågående sysselsättning. Men inuti känns det lite lugnare. Det finns något därframme att längta lite extra till. Lättpackade ryggsäckar, flipflops och inte så mycket mer.
Hur länge är det egentligen kvar till februari?

  202. Hej, det är inte miljövänligt att resa, speciellt inte med flyg. Hur tänkerni där? Om alla skulle flyga runt flera ggr per år så skulle vi inte ha något jordklot kvar. Hur kompensererar ni alla utsläpp?

    1. En mycket viktig aspekt såklart, som det inte finns någon egentlig ursäkt till, precis som alla andra miljöovänliga handlingar (de flesta i dagens samhälle). Men ändå vill man såklart ursäkta sitt handlande 🙂 Så om jag talar för hur vi i vår familj tänker och försöker kompensera så reser vi 4-5 gånger/år, oftast flyg. När vi reser utomlands försöker vi alltid lägga pengarna (förutom flygen) så de hamnar i lokalbefolkningens händer (lyckas dock inte alltid). En hållbar utveckling handlar ju även om andra viktiga aspekter än de miljömässiga. Gällande vår vardag så äter vi inte kött, köper ekologiskt, cyklar till arbetet och gör för övrigt så miljösmarta val vi bara kan, förutom flyget då. Det vore intressant att få höra hur miljösmart du lever, kanske kan man få fler tips (förutom flygen då 🙂 )?

  203. Alldeles för länge till februari! Då åker vi till Costa Rica och jag längtar! Vet precis hur det är med reseabstinensen. Blir ju bara värre ju mer jag reser. Nu funderar jag dessutom på att klicka hem en resa till Färöarna i maj… men än så länge har jag kunnat hejda mig 🙂

  204. Det är ju redan fastställt att stressnivån hos den som har en semesterresa bokad är lägre än hos den som inte har det. Jag får nästan panik om jag inte har någon bokning. För det mesta har jag 2 eller 3 🙂
